Nick Mills.
It is with great regret that we heard of the untimely death of Nick. In common with others, many dear thoughts and emotions have been experienced following this tragic event.
Nick’s whole life was one long catalogue of success.
An athlete, an inventor, wild life protector, Rhino anaesthetist, expert witness, veterinary globe-trotter, veterinary insurance adviser, mediator, senior practice partner; and that’s only scratching the surface.
My association with Nick was mainly in the resolving of veterinary disputes (civil and negligence), and it was he who proposed our Association (later joining forces with Peter Merson) in “The Veterinary Mediation Association”. Thank you Nick !
Nick was the one person who certainly did not require the training and qualifications for this professional involvement, he was just born a Mediator.
We’ll miss that wicked sense of humour.
We all admired Nick’s truly outstanding talents and abilities in every field of life, but what really touched all who experienced this great man, was the fact that he had compassion, kindness and understanding, and you always knew that you had a true friend.
Condolences and sincere good wishes to Vicki and family.
Bryan Hallows.
